We are delighted to announce that the majority of the fabrics in the SIC collection have been OEKO-TEX® certified! Since 1992, STANDARD 100 from OEKO-TEX ® has been one of the most recognised and internationally recognised quality marks for textiles. It is also the leading safety label for textiles. The awarding of this international certificate confirms, , that our products are free of harmful substances in concentrations which have a negative effect on human health, such as pesticides, chlorophenols, formaldehyde, allergenic dyes, banned azo dyes and heavy metals.
It is also a mark indicating compliance with REACH Annex XVII standards. All of our company’s additional processes – including quilting, as well as flame-retardant, water- and stain-resistant finishes – are covered by this certification.
The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is an international certification that a product has been made from recycled materials, with responsible environmental and social practices at every stage of production. This standard promotes sustainability, reduces resource consumption (water and energy) and increases the quality and transparency of recycled products.
