Pets are a big part of family life - they snuggle up on the couch as much as we do. But, if you let your dog or cat „hang out” on your sofa too much, they can damage the fabric. Any number of „events” - pet hair loss, sharp claws, teeth, drool, and „little accidents” can leave your furniture stained, scratched, worn looking and not looking so new!

The tests were carried out by the independent laboratory CTL GmbH in Germany according to the BS 8479:2008 standard.
This test mechanically imitates the scratching of the fabric by pets, e.g. cats or dogs. The snagging test determines the fabric’s tendency to pull threads, tear and related surface defects as a result of the fabric catching on sharp objects. All fabrics from the PET-PROOF collection obtained very good test results, confirming their high resistance to this type of damage.

Furthermore, the short fibers prevent odors and liquids from seeping in, and pet hair and dirt can be easily brushed off the surface with a vacuum or lint brush.
